Hiding in the ‘Charming Place’

For a long time I thought that the landscape played the main role in my work. It is not the image that fascinates me, but the image of the image, which is artificial. The consequence is that I am more interested in the being who is looking and less in what the being is looking at. It no longer matters what people look at, but rather how people look at it or why. I give up on representing reality since it cannot be represented. Reality is an intangible fact. It cannot be observed, only perceived. A representation of reality is already a perception. Does reality exist when it is not observed?
